Membership Categories
Which Type is the Best Fit for you or your Organization?Regular: Individuals or small companies/organization with one or 2 members;
Corporate: Larger organizations that have 4 or more interested staff
- Permits organization/company to use the corporate membership to enable other non-designated members to attend events at discounted member rates;
- Offers a $60 discount for multiple, up to 4 designated staff to receive hard copy and electronic mailings;
- Others in the same organization can receive email notifications at no extra charge.
Sustaining Members shall be recognized for their contribution to the Association. They will receive all benefits of a corporate membership (value $250) plus:
- 1. Their corporate name will be displayed in every copy of the Association's newsletter, home page, and directory as being a Sustaining Member.
2. Their profile upon request will be published once a year in the Association newsletter at no charge. Three additional publications of the same profile can be printed yearly at a 20% discount off the ½ page ad rate for each publication (value $200).
3. Two complimentary e-mail broadcasts each year (value $100).
4. A Sustaining Member may publicly identify themselves as such on letterhead and corporate promotional material (camera-ready URISA-OC logo format available upon request).
5. A Sustaining Member will receive up to 4 copies of all Association mailings and associated entitlements by designating representatives to receive these full regular member benefits.
6. A Sustaining Member will be given a logo link from the Sustaining Member's page located on the URISA – OC home page.

Membership Entitles you to
- Access to the "members area" through our home page http://www.urisaoc.ca- Electronic notification that a new newsletter has been posted;
- an e-notification to go to our website to read/print out the current edition. Past editions of the newsletter are also accessible in the "members area";
- Discounted registration fees for program events 3-4 educations sessions per year including the annual geospatial Expo and program event;
- e-mail notification of job board postings, industry events, new products and services;
- Opportunities to network with colleagues in geospatial field;
- Opportunities to contribute articles to the newsletter, speak at program events, volunteer to host events or participate on committees.
