AMCTO – Hasn’t dealt with geospatial issues in the past but they are now encountering issues with MPAC around data access, use of their data and related matters. http://www.amcto.com/home.asp Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks & Treasurers of Ontario

AOLS – Benefits of GIS (privacy and intellectual rights) seeking issues that they can promote on behalf of MGCC. GITA - Geospatial Information & Technology Association

MISA – Dealing with IT in a municipal setting. Has had some GIS related content in their annual meetings and currently has established a Geospatial Data Management Committee. Regional Planning Commissioners of Ontario - Regional Information Systems Working Group

Tri-Committee – Dealing with IT within the Public Works arena. Major initiative continues to be MIDS infrastructure data standards and looking at spatial standards or the lack thereof – issues on datum projections, referencing standards, etc. http://www.tricom.org/home.asp
