The Province of British Columbia signed the Canadian Geomatics Accord, becoming the fourth signatory following P.E.I., Nova Scotia and Yukon Territory. The Accord creares a framework for federal, provincial and territorial collaboration in the collection, maintenance and distribution of geomatics data. It was initiated by the Canadian Council on Geomatics (CCOG) and is co-led by GeoConnections in fulfilment of its commitments to strengthen federal/provincial/territorial partnerships.
