The URISA-Ontario Chapter newsletter is an excellent way to reach out to
the GIS community by choosing either a Full-page, 1/2 page, an insert or
business card format. Current editions, once distributed are then posted
in our Past Editions Knowledgebase and are available for viewing online
(at your convenience) by access through our members area.

This is a call for advertising in the SPRING/SUMMER 2010 issue of our Chapter newsletter.
Don't miss this opportunity to market to a very special targeted Ontario audience.

The advertisements will be produced in Black & White and will be either 1/2 page or a full page (all interior pages - no covers) with an estimated distribution of over 600 in hard and e-copy versions.

Complete editions of the newsletter will be posted as a permanent record in the NEWSLETTER Knowledgebase and are contained in the 'members area' of the chapter's website. The costs noted below are an excellent value:

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Public Sector or Affiliate Organizations are encouraged to send program
announcements and/or other GIS events. e-blasts notifications are another excellent way to communicate with our GIS community.

** SPECS & REQUIREMENTS **

Attention Advertisers:
The following information is the specs. & requirements of Artwork.

Please supply camera-ready artwork in one of the following formats:
Option 1: Digital Files - 300 DPI minimum

We accept the following digital format files:
- Photoshop version 5.0 or less, EPS or TIF file, on PC or Mac formatted disk (Mac preferred). Rasterize all text.
- Illustrator version 8.0 or less, EPS OR TIF file, on PC or Mac formatted disk (Mac preferred). Outline all text.

Option 2: Film - 150 LPI - emulsion down
This option provides the best quality.

Option 3: 120 LPI (lines per inch)
RC Paper or PMTs.
This option will create medium to high quality, especially if your Ad involves pictures!

Notes:
- Keep in mind that it is a one color (Black only) newsletter, no bleed, image area is 7.5" x 10" meaning your ad. cannot exceed 7.5" Width x 10" Height or your ad material cannot be accommodated. Also, since "photocopying" is our production medium, artwork with screens will not photocopy clearly in all instances.

- All digital submissions must include a paper copy so that we can proof the submission for you.
